This item is part of our conscious collection because it saves lives. Recreate have set up their very own sewing centre in Cambodia where they provide fair employment for their sewing team. Each employee is taught the skill of garment making, is paid a living wage, works a 32 hour week, receives training in other areas such as money management and basic health care, is given help to care for younger children on-site and support to send older children to school. They work in a well ventilated, light and beautiful working environment. All profits are reinvested back into the community.
